"First went across to Rudi about 3 year ago when he sorted the pixels in my 2002 E39 530i Mid unit, which I may add are still perfect. Therefore first person to contact when I got my new toy ( 2000 E39 M5) was Rudi. Repaired the pixels in both the Mid unit & the Speedo, once again Rudi fitted me in on a Saturday morning, which in itself was brilliant, but had both units back in the car within 2 hours. I can honestly recommend Rudi to anyone."

"I removed the Mid Unit from my E53 X5 as the pixels were unreadable, I sent the unit to Rudi and it was fixed the same day ! The unit was as good as new ! I was so pleased with the service I sent my Instrument cluster over to have the pixel display fixed & a set of chrome rings fitted.Rudi saved me about €1,500 compared to BMW replacements. The service / cost and speed was second to none ! I highly recommend Rudi, he should be working for BMW !"

"E39 540i, many pixels dead and service interval markers starting to flicker. I trawled the web, found a few repairers plus pictorial guides to other people's adventures. After many years in similar electronic repair, I thought 'DIY', but like most web stories, I got as far as trying to get the needles off the instruments, then bottled out of wrecking a £700+ part. With the instrument cluster in bits, but being just 20 miles away, I rang BMWPixelfix on a Saturday morning, explained the urgency and was offered a "while you wait" slot that evening. Sure enough, within 50 mins of delivering a bag of bits, my fully working unit was handed back to me, clean and unmarked. Clearly Rudi has the special tools, testgear and experience to do this repair and preserve the calibration of the instruments - but more than that, he's an accommodating guy who'll bale you out of trouble at the drop of a hat for a sensible price. "The service BMW-Pixel-Fix offer is pretty unique. I first heard about them in Performance BMW Magazine and after the MID on my 530 Sport started playing up I knew the problem was common. I found a guide on fixing the issue myself and I don't mind saying that it was VERY tough! Long story short, I ended up breaking the display completely and so I went where I should've the first time!
